Top 14 Short-Form Video Editing Agencies (2026)

Every vendor below was checked on its own live website on 9 September 2026. Nothing here is from memory, and where a company does not publish a price, this page says so instead of guessing.

The short version. Short-form video editing is sold under one job title by four different kinds of business, and picking the wrong kind is what makes people say the money was wasted. Subscription editors like Vidchops, Vidpros and Feedbird sell you editing hours or a video count each month. Marketplaces like Billo sell you creator-shot footage. Full agencies like inBeat, 351 Studio, True North Social, ContentBeta, MATCH Agency and ADSWORM decide what to make before anything gets cut. Per-video shops like Inside Editors and Increditors price by the clip. Published rates on this page span roughly seven times for output that sounds identical, so match the model to your situation first and compare price second.

How I picked these fourteen

I checked every candidate against four things, and I only kept what the company itself publishes:

  1. They actually sell short-form editing or production. One well-known name got cut for this. Sandwich makes launch and explainer films for technology companies, which is genuinely good work and not this category.
  2. The site was live and reachable. All fourteen returned HTTP 200 on 9 September 2026.
  3. Their positioning is stated, not inferred. Every "best for" line below comes from how the company describes itself. Where I couldn't source a claim, I dropped it rather than filling the gap.
  4. Pricing is quoted or marked missing. Six of the fourteen publish no client-facing price. That's written as "not published" and never estimated.

Disclosure, up front. ADSWORM published this page and ADSWORM is on the list. So: the list is not ranked best to worst, it's grouped by the situation you are in. For several buyers here, another vendor on this page is the better answer, and I've said which one in the entry. If you want the cheapest per-video rate, it isn't us.

If you are running paid social and need ad edits at volume

ADSWORM: best for performance ad edits and AI UGC across the US, UK and UAE

Model: agency · Where: Delhi NCR, working for US, UK, UAE and Australian brands · Price: scoped on a call

This is us, so treat it as the biased entry and check it against the rest. What we do that most of this list doesn't: hook-first edits built for paid placement rather than for the feed, plus AI UGC where a creator shoot isn't practical. Real editors do the cutting, with AI used for volume rather than instead of judgement. Turnaround is 24 to 48 hours. We don't publish rates because scope moves a lot between a founder posting twice a week and a brand testing thirty variants a month, so it gets quoted on a call. If your volume's steady and your format never changes, a subscription editor on this list will cost you less than we will.

inBeat Agency: best for creator-led UGC at paid-social scale

Model: agency, managed UGC · Price: not published · Turnaround: not published

inBeat calls itself the "#1 Creative Growth Agency in North America" and runs a managed UGC service covering creator sourcing and casting, hook and script writing, whitelisting and Spark Ads, and reporting broken out by creator, hook and concept. It sits inside a larger paid-media agency covering Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Google Ads. Client logos on the homepage include Nordstrom, New Balance, Bumble and Nestlé. Worth knowing: their pricing page returns a 404, and most case-study cards read "Coming Soon" with the client name hidden, so ask for attributed results in the call rather than expecting them on the site.

Billo: best for buying creator-shot video without hiring an agency at all

Model: platform and creator marketplace · Price: managed service from $2,000/mo · Turnaround: 7–12 business days

Billo is not an agency and it doesn't claim to be. It is a marketplace where you brief and hire from a stated network of 5,000+ creators, with a managed tier layered on top. It belongs on this list because it competes for the same budget, not because it's doing the same job. The self-serve per-video prices sit behind a login, so the only figure publicly printed is the managed service starting number. Countdown on delivery starts when your product physically reaches the creator, which is the part people forget when planning a launch.

If you already have long-form footage sitting there

Clipping Agency: best for turning an existing long-form library into clip volume

Model: managed monthly service · Price: custom per month · Setup: 7 days

Clipping Agency runs managed clipping campaigns: they cut your existing long-form video into short clips and push them out through a recruited clipper network. Their three tiers are published as volume bands rather than prices, running from roughly 30–80 clips a month up to 300–500+, with platform coverage stepping up across the tiers. Every tier is printed as "Custom /mo" and quoted against your content volume. Setup is a stated seven days covering content audit, brand brief and clipper onboarding.

Vidchops: best for a dedicated subscription editor if you post on a schedule

Model: credit-based subscription · Price: $495 (4 credits) and $995 (8 credits) per month · Turnaround: 1–2 days

Vidchops describes itself as a flat-rate editing service for YouTubers and short-form creators, with a dedicated editor and no lock-in contract. Turnaround is published as 1 to 2 days on both paid tiers and same-day on the full-time editor plan, whose price is not printed. Subtitles are billed separately at $95 a month on every plan, which is easy to miss. One caution: some bundled extras are advertised by their claimed dollar value rather than a price you pay, so read those as marketing rather than as a rate.

Increditors: best for a fixed monthly reel count with a white-label option

Model: post-production agency, productised retainers · Price: $2,500 / $5,000 / $9,000 per month · Turnaround: 2–4 days on short-form tiers

Increditors publishes the clearest short-form ladder on this list: $2,500 a month for 12 reels, $5,000 for 20, and $9,000 for 25 or more. They edit rather than film, stating they cover almost every need except live filming, and they list offices in the US, UK and UAE with a remote-first team. They also offer a white-label partner tier. Read the ladder as a starting point rather than a menu, because the same site also says they "almost always provide custom quotes for most clients and custom projects". Their animation line is priced per finished minute, not per month, so don't read it as a retainer.

If you need someone to film as well as edit

Short Form Media: best for founder and executive personal brand from a single filming session

Model: agency, films and edits · Where: Miami and New York · Price: not published

Short Form Media calls itself a full-service short-form video production company and sells the batch model: they state 15 to 30 videos produced from a single filming session, which is the right shape if the bottleneck's your calendar rather than your budget. Turnaround is a stated 3 to 5 business days per batch after filming, with rush available. Pricing depends on volume and whether you need filming, editing or both, and is not published.

351 Studio: best for platform-native social video with strategy in the package

Model: agency · Price: not published · Turnaround: 5–15 business days

351 Studio describes itself plainly as "a short-form video agency creating high-impact social content" and runs four short-form service lines. What they publish about packages is useful even without numbers: strategy, production or edit, colour, sound, motion design, captions and two revision rounds. Most projects are stated to complete in 5 to 15 business days depending on scope, with rush options available. There's no pricing page.

True North Social: best if you want strategy, production, animation and editing from one Los Angeles team

Model: full-service digital agency · Price: not published · Turnaround: not published

True North Social sells short-form video as one line inside a broader digital marketing agency, which suits you if the video's part of a wider social programme rather than a standalone need. Their page carries a "Competitive Pricing" heading with no figures behind it and offers a free estimate instead. No turnaround is claimed anywhere on the page, so get both in writing before you commit.

If you are a B2B or SaaS team

ContentBeta: best for B2B SaaS and AI product teams that need more than video

Model: credit-based creative subscription · Price: $2,000 per product launch video, plus a credit plan · Turnaround: 10 days on the launch video, 1–2 days on most requests

ContentBeta positions itself as one creative production team covering video, motion, design and web for B2B SaaS and AI companies. Short-form sits alongside explainers, demos, UGC, webinar edits and podcast edits. Work runs through a dedicated creative director in Slack on US time zones, with unlimited revisions at script, storyboard and edit stages, and they state an in-house team rather than freelancers. Their credit plan lists an illustrative output mix rather than a guaranteed one, and the percentage-off labels on the pricing page are promotional, so treat the discounted numbers as time-limited.

MATCH Agency: best for short-form that has to slot into a wider content system

Model: agency network · Where: Europe · Price: not published

MATCH Agency runs a dedicated short-form service across TikTok, Reels and Shorts with strategy included, and publishes its process in stages rather than in days per video: briefing and strategy alignment at one day, then content planning, and so on. One thing to weigh, because it changes what you're buying: MATCH describes itself as a network of seven agencies and over fifty freelancers. That is a different delivery model from ContentBeta and Feedbird, both of which sell explicitly against freelancers. Neither approach is wrong, but they aren't the same purchase.

If you are an agency, or the budget is genuinely tight

Vidpros: best for agencies and resellers buying white-label editing capacity

Model: month-to-month subscription · Price: $1,000 part time, $4,000 full time · Turnaround: 1–2 days, overnight revisions

Vidpros assigns a dedicated editor, takes briefs through a client portal and reviews cuts in Frame.io. The part-time plan is published as two hours per working day, roughly 40 hours a month, and the full-time plan as eight hours a day, roughly 160. Revisions submitted by end of US business day are completed overnight. Buying hours rather than videos is the right shape when your own volume is unpredictable, which is exactly the agency case.

Feedbird: best for a small budget that still needs to post consistently

Model: creative subscription · Price: short-form from $149/mo for 5 videos · Turnaround: about a week

Feedbird sells scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks and Shorts, edited, captioned and posted for you, in tiers of 5, 10 and 15 videos a month, alongside social posts and UGC as separate lines. At the entry tier this is the cheapest genuine monthly commitment on the list. Their pricing page carries a comparison against "a typical agency" that is their own characterisation of competitors, several of whom are on this page, so I wouldn't weigh it. Full deliverables are stated at about a week.

Inside Editors: best for the lowest published per-video rate, with caveats

Model: per-video editing agency · Price: $20 per vertical video, $16 at 5+, $14 at 10+ per week

Inside Editors publishes a volume ladder for vertical video: $20 each, dropping to $16 at a five-video minimum and $14 at ten or more a week, with captions, colour grade and sound polish included. Horizontal video is priced separately from $150. Two things to check on a call rather than trust from the site: their own starting price appears as $14, $16 and $20 in three different places, and their delivery claims are similarly inconsistent across pages. At this rate the ladder is still the cheapest published option here, but pin the number and the turnaround down in writing.

Why the prices span seven times

Nothing on this list is directly comparable on price, and treating the table as a like-for-like ranking is the fastest way to buy wrong. Four things actually move the number:

If two quotes are seven times apart, they aren't quoting the same job. Find out which one misunderstood the brief before you assume the cheap one's a bargain.

Six questions to ask before you sign

  1. Who writes the hook? If the answer's "you send us the script", you've bought an editor, not a strategy.
  2. What is the turnaround measured from? Published day counts almost always start from a complete brief and delivered assets, not from when you first messaged them.
  3. How many revision rounds, and what counts as one? Two rounds is the common published standard on this list. "Unlimited" usually has a scope boundary somewhere.
  4. Who owns the footage and the usage rights? This matters most with marketplace creator content, where rights vary by order.
  5. Is the same editor on my account next month? Dedicated-editor plans and pooled-team plans feel identical in month one and very different in month four.
  6. What happens if a video flops? Ask for the actual process. If there isn't one, you're buying output, not performance.

When you should not hire any of these

Three cases, and I'd rather say them than take the call:

Rules of thumb worth keeping

  • Steady volume and a fixed format → subscription editor. Changing creative direction → agency.
  • Six of these fourteen publish no price at all. That's normal in this category, not a red flag on its own.
  • Any vendor quoting a delivery time without asking what state your footage is in hasn't read your brief.
  • For paid social, variant count matters more than polish. For organic, consistency beats both.

Frequently asked questions

What does a short-form video editing agency actually do?

A short-form video editing agency turns raw or existing footage into vertical video for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. The core work is hook selection, pacing, captions, sound design, colour and platform-correct export at 9:16. Some also film, some only edit, and some source creators to shoot for you. Those are three different businesses that all use the same job title, so the first question to ask any vendor is which of the three they actually do.

How much does short-form video editing cost in 2026?

Published prices across the vendors on this list run from about 14 US dollars per vertical video at Inside Editors to 9,000 US dollars a month at the top Increditors tier, with Feedbird listing short-form videos from 149 dollars a month and Vidchops listing 495 and 995 dollars a month. That spread is roughly seven times for output that sounds similar, because the delivery models are not comparable: a per-video offshore edit, a subscription editor, a marketplace creator and a full agency with strategy are four different purchases. Several agencies on this list publish no price at all and quote per project.

Should I hire an agency, a subscription service, or a freelancer?

Match the model to how predictable your volume is. A subscription editor makes sense when you ship a steady number of videos every week and the format rarely changes. An agency earns its margin when the creative direction itself needs to change, when you need someone to decide what to film, or when the videos are running as paid ads and losing money is expensive. A freelancer is usually cheapest and fastest until they take a holiday, at which point your whole pipeline stops.

What turnaround time is realistic for short-form edits?

One to two business days per video is the common published claim, and Vidpros, Vidchops and Increditors all print it. Agencies that also film quote longer: Short Form Media states three to five business days per batch after filming, 351 Studio states five to fifteen business days depending on scope, and Billo states seven to twelve business days from when the product reaches the creator. Treat any published turnaround as the time after a complete brief, not from the moment you first message them.

Do I need to send raw footage, or can an agency work from what I already have?

Most editing-only vendors work entirely from what you already own, including long-form video, past ad creative, webinar recordings and podcast episodes. Clipping Agency is built specifically around cutting an existing long-form library into short clips. If you have no footage at all, you need a vendor that either films or sources creators, which is a materially different service and usually a materially different price.

How many short-form videos a month do I actually need?

For organic social, consistency beats volume, and a steady eight to twelve a month you can sustain is worth more than thirty for one month and nothing after. For paid social the logic reverses, because you are testing hooks rather than posting: there you want enough variants that a losing hook can be cut without leaving the ad set empty. Decide which of the two you are doing before you buy a package, because the right number is different for each.

Is ADSWORM on this list because it wrote the list?

ADSWORM published this page and ADSWORM is on it, so read the entry with that in mind. The list is not ranked best to worst, every other vendor is described from facts printed on their own website on 9 September 2026, and several of them are a better fit than ADSWORM for buyers who want the cheapest per-video rate or a self-serve subscription. Where that is true, this page says so in the entry rather than burying it.

Where the platform rules sit

Two things worth reading yourself rather than taking from any agency, because they change what a good edit looks like: YouTube's own Shorts specification for length and aspect ratio, and TikTok's Creative Center for what's actually performing in your category this month. If any of your short-form is creator-led or reads as a testimonial, the FTC endorsement guides apply to you, not only to the creator.

Not sure which of the four models you need?

Send me what you are posting now and what you are spending. I'll tell you which model fits — and if one of the other thirteen is the better answer, I'll name it.
